BEYOND A HUG

I have many times thought what there is in a simple hug. The thought so strong that i began to ask myself many questions that bemused me deeply. I thought of the affection it carries as well as the deceit it fosters. I have seen people who hug people because they want to satisfy their sensual emotions at that time.
I used to know a man that dance towards a lady in a bid to always hug her any time the choir sing the song; hold somebody
Tell him that you love him
Put your hands together and praise the lord
I also know young men who will always hug young busty ladies by 360 or 0 degrees, all in a bid to feel the succulence of their body and thereby torment their erotic or sensual feelings. In my confusion i decided never to engage in a hug, the idea was flee from every appearance of evil.
I was further thrown into confusion when i saw a colleague who was beating by failure grinned from chin to chin at the warmness of a hug. I have seen a down casted mind blown to a zealot, a sorrowful spirit enlivened, and a hopeless person sprung to strength and blossomness at the instance of a good hug. The thought was beyond imagination and as I thought i began to realise the beauty and power behind a hug.
One of those days when i just got a job in a multinational firm, i met a neighbour I have not seen for over 8 years on the road to Victoria Island, my God! She screamed my name and hugged me with so much joy that threw me into ecstasy. I know her reason for hugging that way, sincerely the joy and pride I felt that day made walk in debonair.
Friends, i just returned to the office from a ghastly motor accident that left two dead and was greeted from all quarters with hugs. I wept as i felt the love it bestowed. Honestly the love and security a simple hug bestows is beyond the deceit it sometimes musters. Well, whether it is actually deceit or love, it is very subjective.
Have you ever imagined the feeling you will have when your boss hug you for a job well done? Have you also thought of the bliss a child will feel when he is hugged instead of spanked. The magic is just beyond imagination. Like me, try and give somebody a warm hug in and see the magic it renders, the feeling of hope it conjures and the lingering thoughts of happiness it stirs.
